MEMORY PILLOWS– The craft room will be creating memory pillows for our members who have lost a loved one. You will need to bring a t-shirt, flannel, sweatshirt or oxford shirt from your loved one. Each pillow will cost $15.00. If you are interested please see Betsey in the craft room.
CROCHET SOCIAL GROUP– Thursdays 1:00 p.m. Now that you've refreshed your crochet skills, it's time to set you free! The Crochet Social Group will be meeting in the Community Room Thursdays beginning at 1:00pm. Bring your project to work on, share patterns, teach your fellow crocheters a new stitch and just spend time hanging out with friends! Donna will pop in from time to time to see what you're working on and answer any questions you may have.
BLANKETS - Calling all knitters, crocheters and quilters! We are looking for people who can knit, crochet or quilt lap blankets for adults to be donated during the winter months. Please see Donna or Betsey for details on materials to be used and sizes.
THE YMCA DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM– Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.– 2:00 p.m.
This is a FREE 1 year program, 26 sessions in total; (16 weekly,3 bi-weekly and 7 monthly) led by trained Healthy Living Coaches who guide and motivate you. For more information please leave your name and number with Gale.

SUMMER MOVIE DAY - “HAMILTON” Thursday, July 9, 2026 @ 12:30 p.m. The original Broadway production of “Hamilton” combines the best elements of live theater, film and streaming to bring the cultural phenomenon to homes around the world for a thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime experience. “Hamilton” is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, “Hamilton” has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, the film transports its audience into the world of the Broadway show in a uniquely intimate way. And YES we will have popcorn!!!
FRIDAY BINGO & LUNCH–Friday, July 10, 2026 @ 10:00 a.m. Our theme this month is “National Fried Chicken Day” Bingo. Cost $6.00, includes 10 games of Bingo and lunch. Bring your dabbers.

HEALTH FAIR - Thursday, September 17, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Sign up for your flu, RSV or Covid Vaccinations. Sign up sheets will be located on the credenza in the greeting area. We will have health screenings and vendors with lots of resources. There will be more information in next months newsletter.
WITS WORKOUT - Thursdays September 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22, 10:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m. University of Delaware Cooperative Extension & Weston Senior Center presents the WITS Workout Brain Health Program.
